We see the strengthening of community engagement as a natural part of the Academy’s life and are committed to building existing relationships and developing new ones as the Academy takes its place at the centre of the local community.
We have an ongoing commitment to deliver activities which promote community cohesion and engagement. This includes opportunities for students, parents, carers and other members of our community to become involved in educational activities outside of core hours during term time and during the school holidays. The activities include learning English as a second language, sport and fitness, and workshops to develop music technology, art, numeracy and ICT skills. Hoxton Hall, Immediate Theatre, Shoreditch Trust and Skyways are just some of our community and voluntary sector partners. (Read more)
