Admissions criteria

 
Priority for our 125 places will be given to existing Bridge Academy students.
 
For AS and A Level courses applicants will need 6 A*-C grades including English and Mathematics with a minimum of 4 B grades in their chosen subjects. Students wishing to study Mathematics at AS / A level must have a grade A at GCSE.
 
For vocational qualifications applicants will need 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*- C or a minimum Pass in a relevant Level 2 vocational course.
 
In recognition of our Music specialism we offer five music places to external applicants under our over-subscription criteria.

Application forms can be found on the link below and will also be available on our Sixth Form Open Night on November 15th 5:00 - 7:30pm and our Taster Day on December 15th 9:50am - 2:15pm.
Admissions open on Monday November 19th and close on Thursday January 31st 2013.
 
Guidance on selecting  the number of courses
 
Students are expected to have twenty hours teaching contact a week. All A levels have five hours a week. BTEC courses can have ten hours or five hours a week for equivalent of either one or two A levels.
