Cultural Capital Days
At Bridge, we recognise that for students to be successful academically and in the wider areas of their lives, they need to be given rich and sustained opportunities to develop their cultural capital.
Students participate in three Cultural Capital Days throughout the year (one per term) where lessons are suspended and students will participate in a range of fun and enjoyable learning experiences beyond the classroom. Visits include trips to art galleries, theatres, museums and other places of cultural significance.
Recent cultural Capital Day experiences (2022-23): Hampton Court Palace, Science Museum, Tate Modern and Tate Britain, the V&A, Kew Gardens, Canterbury Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Jewish Museum, London Zoo and Southend-on-Sea Aquarium.
