Every year, the majority of our Year 11s choose to stay at the Bridge.
Key Stage 4 leavers - information from Prospects
2020 Year 11 leavers:
- 97% to sustained destinations
- 97% to education destinations
- 67% to sixth forms including Bridge
- 20% to Further Education colleges
- 9% to sixth form colleges
Key Stage 5 Leavers
Our aim is to have more Year 13 students going to top third universities than the national average. This is achieved.
In 2020:
- 82% accepted university places
- Most students who accepted places at university are first in their families to do so
- One student went to Cambridge and one to Oxford
- 48% of Bridge students accepted places at top third universities and 26% at prestigious Russell Group universities - significantly above national averages
- Popular degree choices were Biological Sciences, Business Studies, Computer Science, Economics, English, Engineering, Law, Mathematics, Media Studies, Medicine, Pharmacology, Physics, Psychology and Sociology
- 1% accepted apprenticeships
