Our objectives for the 2021/22 Progression Programme are:

1. To support students to make successful transitions at each Key Stage and have the information they need about the world of work including the routes to jobs and careers they might find engaging by:

  • Providing a motivating, comprehensive and progressive Progression Programme with clear learning outcomes that are achieved.  The PSHE lessons delivering the Progression Programme are new in 2021/22.
  • Ensuring Unifrog is rolled out in 2021/22 as part of the new PSHE programme, and that students understand how to use it effectively.
  • Ensuring students in Years 8-13 engage with and learn from the Progression Fair.

2. To ensure careers provision is effective and tailored to students' needs and ambitions, by developing and implementing an evaluation plan to:

  • Gain feedback from students, parents and carers, and Bridge staff.
  • Engage students in developing the Progression Programme through the Student Council and Year 13 exit interviews.

3. To enable students in Years 7-9 and 12 to visit a university.

4. To ensure delivery of an outstanding Progression Programme by submitting the application for the Quality in Careers Standard by end 2022.
