Year 8 Residential In the Autumn term of each year, all year 8 students have the opportunity to participate in our annual 3-day action-packed residential. This residential takes place at the beautiful Osmington Bay Activity Centre in Weymouth, Dorset. This beautiful location on the Jurassic Coast affords students breath-taking views over the English Channel. Students take part in a range of outdoor team activities including water sports, zip wire, archery, trapeze and rafting. They also enjoy some free time on the private onsite beach. All activity sessions are led by well-trained instructors and were supervised by Academy staff.
The residential provides students with a safe, fun and challenging environment to develop their social skills and responsibilities in a setting away from home.
